Role & responsibilities

- Translate brand requirements and design concepts into functional, aesthetically compelling and commercially viable spaces

- Develop interior design concepts and design proposals for retail stores. Prepare mood boards, material palettes, colour schemes, furniture concepts and design presentations.

- Develop space planning and layouts while balancing aesthetics, functionality, customer flow and operational requirements.

- Prepare and review detailed drawings, layouts, elevations, sections, reflected ceiling plans and furniture layouts.

- Develop design details and coordinate with MEP, lighting, signage and other consultants.

- Prepare material specifications and finishes schedules.

- Coordinate with project managers, architect, contractors, vendors and site teams to ensure smooth implementation of designs.

- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for material samples, quotations,



mock-ups and custom design elements.

Preferred candidate profile

- Strong understanding of retail/hospitality planning, customer circulation, functionality and spatial experience.

- Experience working on retail stores, restaurants, cafs, hotels, hospitality spaces or other customer-facing environments.

- Good knowledge of materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, fixtures and interior detailing.

- Proficiency in AutoCAD and presentation/design tools such as SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, Enscape, V-Ray or equivalent software.

- Should be able to travel frequently.

- Robust design presentation and visualization skills.

- Good communication, coordination and stakeholder management skills.
