About Rao SpaceRao Space is a Bengaluru-based home interior company specialising in modular kitchens, wardrobes, TV units, puja units, study units, crockery units and complete home interiors.

We are strengthening our design system around standardised modular catalogues, space planning and efficient design-to-production workflows.

We are looking for an Interior Designer who has hands-on experience with Infurnia, especially catalogue creation and management.

Key ResponsibilitiesThe candidate will work on both Infurnia Catalogue Management and Client Design Projects.

Infurnia Catalogue Management

- Create and maintain modular furniture catalogues in Infurnia.
- Create standard modules for kitchens, wardrobes, TV units, study units, crockery units, puja units and other home-interior products.
- Configure module dimensions, finishes, materials, accessories and hardware.
- Maintain different size and configuration options for modules.
- Organise catalogues so that designers can easily select and use the correct modules.
- Update catalogue items whenever materials, hardware, specifications or design standards change.
- Identify catalogue errors, duplication and missing modules.
- Help improve the catalogue continuously based on actual project requirements.

Interior Designing
- Prepare space planning and furniture layouts.
- Design modular kitchens, wardrobes and other interior units using Infurnia.
- Develop practical designs based on client requirements, available space and storage needs.
- Prepare presentations and design options for client discussions.
- Incorporate client-approved changes efficiently.
- Prepare accurate drawings and specifications for production.
- Coordinate with project,



production and design teams before design freeze.

Must-Have Skills
- Hands-on experience using Infurnia.
- Good understanding of Infurnia Catalogue Management.
- Experience designing modular kitchens and wardrobes.
- Good knowledge of modular furniture dimensions and construction.
- Understanding of laminates, boards, hardware, accessories and finishes.
- Ability to convert site measurements and client requirements into practical designs.
- Valuable attention to dimensions and technical details.

Preferred SkillsKnowledge of any of the following will be an advantage:
- AutoCAD
- SketchUp
- Enscape / D5 / similar rendering software
- Production drawings
- Modular furniture manufacturing
- BOQ preparation
- Interior material and hardware specifications

What We Are Looking ForWe are looking for someone who is not only good at creating attractive designs but also enjoys building organised design systems and catalogues. You should be comfortable asking:

- Can this module be standardised?
- Can another designer reuse this design?
- Are the dimensions production-friendly?
- Is the catalogue organised correctly?
- Can we reduce repetitive design work?

ExperiencePreferred: 2+ years in residential interiors / modular furniture. Candidates with strong hands-on Infurnia experience may be considered even with lower overall experience.

QualificationDiploma / Degree in Interior Design, Architecture or a related field.

LocationDoddakallasandra, South Bengaluru

Candidates staying reasonably close to South Bengaluru will be preferred.
