An interior designer at an interior firm plans, designs, and supervises residential or commercial projects from initial concept to final on-site installation.
Core Responsibilities:
- Client Consultation: Meet with clients to discuss their style preferences, functional needs, and project goals.
- Space Planning & Design: Create floor plans, 2D/3D layouts, and mood boards using software like AutoCAD or SketchUp.
- Material Sourcing: Select and specify materials, furniture, lighting, and finishes while staying within budget.
- Project Management: Set timelines, coordinate with contractors and vendors, and oversee on-site installation.
- Code Compliance: Ensure all designs adhere to local building safety codes and regulatory standards.
Key Requirements & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong command of design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, or Adobe Photoshop.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to present design ideas clearly and build client trust.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to handle on-site challenges, delays, or budget shifts smoothly.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
