Chatterjee Productions is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our in-office production team in Howrah. You will work on real client projects, mainly short-form social media content, reels and motion graphics.
Responsibilities
- Edit reels, short-form videos and social media content.
- Work with Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
- Add captions, transitions, basic motion graphics, sound effects and music.
- Follow established editing styles, guidelines and creative direction.
- Make revisions based on feedback.
- Maintain good editing quality while consistently meeting deadlines.
- Organize project files and maintain a clean workflow.
- Gradually take responsibility for projects independently as your skills improve.
What we're looking for:
- Good understanding of video editing and visual storytelling.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of After Effects is preferred.
- Good sense of pacing, composition and music.
- Willingness to learn and improve.
- Ability to follow instructions and work within a structured workflow.
- Strong commitment to deadlines and consistency.
- Portfolio/work samples are required.
Work Details:
- Location: Howrah, West Bengal
- Work type: Full-time, In-office
- Working days: Monday–Saturday
- Initial period: 2-month paid probation/training
- During probation: ₹250 per completed project
- Based on performance, there may be an opportunity to transition to a fixed salary of ₹12,000/month-15,000/month after the probation period.
