Role
Manage the on-ground implementation of civil works for government projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct site surveys and prepare layouts and working drawings using AutoCAD or other CAD software.
- Handle negotiations related to billing matters with Indian government clients.
- Prepare BOQs, quantity estimates and costing using government SOR/DSR.
- Source quotations from local civil contractors and negotiate rates.
- Coordinate with government officials, contractors, vendors and management.
- Monitor site execution, measurements, quality, safety and timelines.
- Maintain measurement records, bills and progress reports.
- Resolve site-level issues and ensure timely completion.
Requirements
- Practical experience in civil project execution.
- Good knowledge of SOR/DSR, BOQs, estimation, drawings and contractor billing.
- Strong vendor negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Explicit communication in Hindi and English.
- Willing to travel frequently and stay at project sites when required.
