Implementation Manager, CareMonitor

Location: India (remote), working AEST/AEDT hours (Sydney time zone)

About CareMonitor

CareMonitor is a cloud-based healthcare platform used by hospitals, primary health networks, aged and community care providers, and government health programs, primarily across Australia. Our platform powers remote patient monitoring, telehealth, clinical workflow management, care plan configuration, and system integrations. Clients range from large hospital networks (St Vincent's Health Australia, Mater Hospital) to aged care providers (Amplar Health) and government programs.

The Role

You will own the end-to-end delivery of CareMonitor platform implementations for healthcare clients. This is not a project coordinator role: you are the person who sits between clinical stakeholders and engineering, translates care models into platform configuration, and drives each engagement from scoping through go-live and post-launch stabilisation.

You will manage multiple concurrent client deployments at varying stages of maturity, operating as the single point of accountability for delivery timelines, scope, risk, and client satisfaction.

What You'll Do

Client Discovery & Co-design

- Run clinical discovery workshops with clinicians, care coordinators, nursing leads, and executive sponsors to map current-state and future-state models of care
- Translate clinical workflows (care plans, assessments, patient monitoring protocols, triage and handoff processes) into CareMonitor platform configuration requirements
- Capture and formalise requirements: programs, care plans, metrics, targets, alerts, questionnaires, custom dashboards, reporting, data migration, and integration needs
- Develop Statements of Work (SOWs) and implementation plans in collaboration with Product and Engineering

Platform Configuration & Delivery

- Drive configuration of care plans, assessment forms, clinical metrics, alert thresholds, task templates, goals, resources, and patient-facing content
- Coordinate environment setup across staging and production, including migration plans and go-live checklists
- Manage UAT cycles end-to-end:



test case design, client-side testing coordination, defect triage, and signoff
- Oversee white-label mobile app setup where required (branding, multi-language support, custom onboarding flows)

Integration & Technical Coordination

- Coordinate EMR and third-party system integrations (HL7, FHIR, REST APIs, SSO/identity federation) between CareMonitor engineering and client IT teams
- Work with integration architects on data flow design between clinical, administrative, and external platforms
- Manage integration-related risk, dependencies, and timelines across concurrent workstreams

Stakeholder Management

- Serve as the primary client-facing delivery lead, managing expectations across clinical, IT, and executive stakeholders within hospitals, PHNs, aged care providers, and government bodies
- Provide regular project status updates, milestone tracking, and risk/issue escalation
- Drive change management: plan and deliver platform training for clinical and administrative end-users
- Coordinate across CareMonitor's internal teams (Product, Engineering, QA, Support) to resolve blockers and keep delivery on track.

Post Go-Live & Continuous Improvement

- Manage post go-live stabilisation, issue triage, and transition to BAU support
- Build and maintain reusable implementation playbooks, templates, and onboarding checklists
- Identify patterns across engagements that can be standardised into repeatable processes

What You Bring

Must-haves:

- 8+ years in healthcare technology implementation, delivery, or consulting, with direct experience configuring and deploying clinical platforms
- Demonstrated experience running clinical discovery workshops and translating care workflows into platform configuration
- Strong understanding of healthcare service delivery models




- Experience coordinating system integrations in healthcare (HL7, FHIR, or similar interoperability standards
- Track record managing multiple concurrent implementation projects with cross-functional teams
- Excellent stakeholder management across clinical (nurses, doctors, care coordinators), technical (IT, integration teams), and executive audiences
- Comfortable working in Australian timezone (AEST/AEDT) from India, with overlap roughly 5:30 AM to 2:30 PM IST
- Strong written and verbal English communication

Robust preferences:

- Experience with Australian healthcare settings: hospitals, PHNs, aged care, community care, or government health programs
- Familiarity with SaaS platform configuration (not just waterfall IT rollouts)
- Exposure to remote patient monitoring, telehealth, or virtual care platforms
- Project management certification (PRINCE2, PMP, or Agile/Scrum)
- Experience with change management and end-user training in clinical environments
- Hands-on with tools like ClickUp, Jira, Confluence, or similar delivery management platforms

Nice-to-haves:

- Understanding of Australian healthcare regulatory frameworks and data sovereignty requirements
- Experience with mobile health app deployments or white-label product delivery
- Familiarity with FHIR-based data exchange, SSO/identity integration patterns
- Background in data migration planning for healthcare systems

Why This Role is Challenging (and Interesting)

- Every client has a different model of care, different clinical workflows, and different integration landscapes: there is no cookie-cutter deployment
- You'll work across hospital in-the-home programs, aged care virtual nursing, government community health, and primary care networks, often simultaneously
- The platform is deeply configurable, which means the quality of the implementation is directly shaped by how well you understand the clinical context
- You'll bridge a distributed team (India-based engineering, Australia-based clients and leadership) across time zones, which requires discipline and proactive communication
