About the Role

Mediant Labs is seeking an experienced ERP Enablement Architect to lead the learning and user enablement strategy for a global IFS Cloud ERP implementation.

This is a strategic consulting role responsible for ensuring that end users are prepared to successfully adopt recent business processes and system workflows.

The successful candidate will possess a unique combination of ERP implementation experience, business process understanding, instructional architecture expertise, and stakeholder engagement skills.

We're looking for someone who understands that successful ERP implementations are driven by user adoption—not just system deployment.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working with business leaders, process owners, and technical teams to understand how people perform their jobs today, how those jobs will change in the future, and what learning interventions are needed to ensure a successful transition.

This individual should be equally capable of facilitating executive workshops, analyzing business processes, developing learning strategies, and guiding instructional design teams to produce high-quality enablement assets.

Key Responsibilities

Enablement Strategy

- Define the overall enablement strategy supporting the ERP implementation.
- Develop role-based learning and adoption strategies aligned to business objectives.
- Create learning roadmaps that support organizational readiness throughout the ERP lifecycle.
- Align learning deliverables with project milestones, deployment waves, and go-live activities.

Business Analysis & Process Alignment

- Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) across business functions.
- Perform Job Task Analysis (JTA) to identify critical job tasks and learning requirements.
- Facilitate workshops with business stakeholders, functional leads, process owners, and SMEs.




- Map business processes and ERP transactions to specific user roles.
- Identify business-critical, compliance-sensitive, and high-risk workflows requiring focused enablement.
- Analyze changes between legacy systems and future-state ERP processes to identify adoption risks.

Learning Architecture

- Design role-based curriculum architectures for Finance, Projects, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and other functional areas.
- Define learning objectives aligned to job performance rather than system navigation.
- Develop instructional frameworks that incorporate awareness, demonstration, guided practice, performance support, and reinforcement.
- Recommend appropriate learning modalities including:
- ClickLearn simulations
- Instructor-led sessions
- Job aids
- Digital adoption content
- Performance support
- Knowledge assessments

Stakeholder Engagement

- Serve as the primary learning and enablement advisor to customer stakeholders.
- Facilitate design workshops and content validation sessions.
- Build strong relationships with SMEs and business leaders to ensure learning reflects operational reality.
- Present recommendations and gain stakeholder alignment throughout the project.

Content Governance

- Review instructional designs to ensure alignment with enablement strategy.
- Guide instructional designers and ClickLearn developers during production.
- Validate that learning assets accurately reflect business processes and system behaviour.




- Establish governance standards for curriculum structure, content quality, and review cycles.

Change Enablement

- Partner with Organizational Change Management (OCM) teams to support user adoption.
- Identify potential adoption risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Align learning activities with communication, readiness, and change management initiatives.
- Support business readiness leading up to ERP deployment.

Required Experience

- 10+ years of experience in Learning Consulting, ERP Enablement, Organizational Change Management, or Enterprise Training.
- Experience supporting one or more enterprise ERP implementations, including:
- IFS Cloud (mandatory)
- SAP
- Oracle Cloud ERP
- Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Workday
- Infor
- Demonstrated experience conducting:
- Training Needs Analysis (TNA)
- Job Task Analysis (JTA)
- Role Mapping
- Curriculum Architecture
- Learning Strategy
- Strong understanding of enterprise business processes.
- Experience working directly with business stakeholders and SMEs.
- Excellent facilitation and workshop management skills.
- Strong analytical, communication, and consulting skills.
