Role: IBM InfoSphere MDM Technical Lead

Experience range: 7-12 Years

Location: Chennai, Noida

Must-Have**

- 7+ years of IBM InfoSphere MDM experience, with hands-on ownership of enterprise MDM implementations, upgrades, or support.
- Proven experience upgrading IBM InfoSphere MDM from 11.x to 11.6 and from 11.6 to MDM 14.
- Strong knowledge of MDM architecture, Operational Server, Workbench, Inspector, data model, matching, suspect processing, survivorship, and custom extensions.
- Hands-on experience with WebSphere Application Server, IBM Installation Manager, Java/J2EE, SOAP/REST services, SQL, and Oracle or equivalent enterprise databases.
- Ability to analyze compatibility matrices, prerequisites, fix packs, dependencies, migration paths, and product limitations.
- Strong troubleshooting, log analysis, performance analysis, deployment, and production-support capabilities.
- Experience delivering customer-facing projects and communicating with technical and business stakeholders.

Valuable-to-Have

- • Experience with AIX/Linux, IBM MQ, CI/CD, automated regression testing, performance testing, high availability, and disaster recovery.
- • IBM MDM certification or prior experience as an MDM technical lead, architect, or upgrade SME.
- • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field,



or equivalent relevant experience.

Roles & Responsibilities-

1. Role Summary: Lead and support IBM InfoSphere MDM upgrades from 11.x to 11.6 and from 11.6 to MDM 14, including planning, installation, configuration, compatibility assessment, troubleshooting, validation, cutover, and post-production support.
2. Plan and execute IBM InfoSphere MDM upgrades to version 11.6 and MDM 14 across development, test, UAT, and production environments.
3. Assess product prerequisites and compatibility across WebSphere Application Server, Java/JDK, database, operating system, IBM Installation Manager, MDM Workbench, and integration components.
4. Install, configure, migrate, deploy, validate, and troubleshoot MDM environments, customizations, services, data model extensions, and database schema upgrades.
5. Diagnose complex installation, deployment, integration, performance, batch, matching, and production-support issues; perform root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
6. Prepare upgrade plans, runbooks, cutover and rollback procedures, risk logs, technical documentation, and knowledge-transfer material.
7. Collaborate with customer architects, application teams, DBAs, middleware, infrastructure, security, testing, and business stakeholders.
