Role Description The Human Resources Manager is a full-time, in office role based at the Kochi centre. This position is responsible for managing end-to-end HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, performance management, and HR policy implementation. The role involves partnering with leadership to identify staffing needs, designing and executing talent acquisition strategies, and maintaining accurate HR records and documentation.

Manager will handle employee relations, grievance resolution, and compliance with local labor laws and institutional policies.



The role also includes planning training and development initiatives, supporting organizational change, and contributing to a positive, inclusive work culture aligned with MIA’s mission.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in talent acquisition, interviewing, and workforce planning to manage hiring and staffing needs effectively.
- Candidates should possess skills in employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management to support a positive and productive work environment.
- Candidates should possess skills in HR policy development, compliance with labor laws, and HR documentation to ensure robust and transparent HR processes.
- Candidates should possess skills in training needs analysis, learning and development coordination, and coaching to support employee growth.
- Candidates should possess strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and levels.
- Candidates should possess organizational and analytical skills, including proficiency with HRIS tools, MS Office, and data-driven decision-making.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, and prior experience in an HR management role are highly beneficial.
- Familiarity with the education or training sector, and the ability to work on-site in Kochi with a commitment to ethical, inclusive HR practices, will be an advantage.
