Role OverviewWe are looking for a proactive, responsible and people-focused Human Resources Executive to support recruitment and day-to-day HR responsibilities for our Bengaluru office.
This is a broad HR role covering talent acquisition, employee lifecycle management, engagement and HR operations. The individual will work closely with employees, managers and the central HR team to address everyday people requirements, maintain efficient processes and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
Key ResponsibilitiesTalent Acquisition
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for creative, strategy, media, client servicing and other agency functions.
- Understand hiring requirements, approved budgets and timelines in coordination with managers and the HR team.
- Source and screen candidates, coordinate interviews and maintain timely candidate communication.
- Coordinate salary discussions, offer rollouts and joining formalities within approved guidelines.
- Build talent pipelines and maintain recruitment trackers, hiring reports and candidate databases.
- Support campus hiring, internship programmes and employer-branding initiatives.
Employee Lifecycle Management
- Coordinate onboarding, induction, probation reviews, confirmations, employee movements and exits.
- Conduct regular employee check-ins and follow up on workplace concerns.
- Maintain accurate employee records, documentation and HRMS data.
- Coordinate exit interviews, handovers and clearance formalities.
- Track employee feedback and flag recurring concerns to the HR team.
Employee Relations and Support
- Act as the local HR point of contact for routine employee queries and concerns.
- Handle everyday workplace matters with maturity, sensitivity and confidentiality.
- Explain company policies and support their consistent implementation.
- Work with managers on attendance, communication and day-to-day employee concerns.
- Escalate sensitive grievances, disciplinary matters and complex issues to senior HR for guidance and resolution.
Employee Engagement and Culture
- Plan and execute employee engagement activities, celebrations and recognition initiatives within approved budgets.
- Gather employee feedback through regular interactions and surveys.
- Encourage participation and help build an inclusive, collaborative workplace.
- Coordinate training sessions and learning initiatives based on identified needs.
Performance Review Coordination
- Coordinate probation assessments, performance reviews and appraisal timelines.
- Follow up with managers on feedback and completion of review documentation.
- Support employee development discussions through scheduling, tracking and documentation.
- Assist senior HR with follow-ups on performance concerns and agreed improvement actions.
HR Operations and Reporting
- Prepare offer letters, appointment letters, confirmation letters and other HR documents using approved formats.
- Maintain attendance and leave records and coordinate accurate payroll inputs with relevant teams.
- Support employee queries relating to benefits, HRMS access and HR processes.
- Prepare recruitment MIS, headcount updates and monthly HR reports.
- Track approved recruitment and engagement expenses.
- Ensure timely documentation and support improvements to everyday HR processes.
What We’re Looking For
- 2–3 years of HR experience, preferably within a creative, digital, media or advertising agency.
- Robust hands-on recruitment skills, ideally with exposure to hiring for agency roles.
- Practical experience in HR operations, onboarding, employee engagement and lifecycle coordination.
- Ability to manage daily HR activities independently while recognising when to seek guidance.
- Good communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- A mature, approachable and discreet manner when handling employee concerns.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, HRMS platforms and HR reporting.
- Strong ownership, organisation and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced agency environment.
