Legacy Ship Management is a ship management company providing operational, crewing, and technical support services to vessels We're looking for an organized, people-focused HR Executive to join our shore-based team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for shore staff and coordinate with crewing department as needed
- Handle onboarding, induction, and documentation for new hires
- Maintain employee records, attendance, and HR databases
- Support payroll processing and coordinate with finance/admin teams
- Draft and update HR policies, employment contracts, and offer letters
- Address employee queries, grievances, and support engagement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies
- Assist with performance appraisal processes and training coordination
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
- 1–3 years of HR experience (shipping/maritime industry experience is a plus, not mandatory)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in MS Office / HRMS tools
- Positive organizational and multitasking ability
