Job Title: HR Generalist Trainee / HR Associate
Department: Human Resources
Reports To: HR Manager / Senior HR Generalist

Job Summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic, detail-oriented HR Generalist (Fresher) to join our People Operations team. In this role, you will gain hands-on exposure across the complete employee lifecycle—from recruitment and onboarding to employee engagement and basic HR operations. If you have strong communication skills, a knack for organization, and a passion for working with people, this is an excellent opportunity to launch your HR career.
Key Responsibilities
- Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Support
- Assist in drafting job descriptions and posting vacancies across job portals and campus career boards.
- Screen incoming resumes, schedule candidate interviews, and coordinate recruitment logistics.
- Prepare new-hire onboarding kits, set up employee profiles, and coordinate orientation sessions for new joiners.
2. Employee Engagement & Culture
- Help organize team-building events, festive celebrations, and employee recognition activities.
- Assist in gathering employee feedback through surveys and engagement metrics.
- Be a friendly, approachable point of contact for day-to-day routine queries from employees.
3. HR Operations & Administration
- Maintain and update employee records, attendance, and leave logs in the HRIS software.
- Collect and verify candidate documents for background verification (BGV) and personnel files.
- Support the HR team in compiling data for monthly payroll preparation and administrative tasks.
4. Compliance & Learning Assistance
- Assist in drafting basic HR letters (e.g., Offer Letters, Internship Certificates, Experience Letters).
- Coordinate logistics for employee training sessions and track completion records.
- Maintain basic awareness of workplace policies and assist in circulating policy updates.
Key Qualifications & Attributes
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration (MBA / BBA), Psychology, or a related field.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Tech Skills: Basic proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or Google Workspace. Exposure to HRIS tools or Canva is a bonus.
- Interpersonal Skills: Warm, empathetic, and professional demeanor with robust listening skills.
- Organization: High attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Confidentiality: High level of integrity and respect for sensitive employee information.
