Role Description The Hostel Warden is responsible for the overall care, safety, and discipline of students residing in the school hostel in Nimbahera. This full-time, in office role includes supervising daily routines, ensuring adherence to hostel rules, and maintaining a secure and supportive living environment.

The Warden will coordinate room allocations, oversee cleanliness and maintenance, and manage meal times and study hours. The role involves addressing student concerns, monitoring health and wellbeing, and communicating regularly with parents and school administration.





The Hostel

Warden will also handle documentation related to hostel operations and support the school in organizing residential activities that promote holistic development.

Qualifications

- Ability to manage hostel operations, including supervision of routines, discipline, and safety procedures.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build trust with students, collaborate with staff, and communicate effectively with parents.
- Capability to respond calmly to emergencies, handle conflicts, and support student wellbeing and pastoral care.
- Organizational skills for record-keeping, scheduling, and coordination of maintenance, housekeeping, and vendors.
- Basic computer literacy for maintaining reports, communication, and hostel-related documentation.
- Prior experience in a hostel, boarding school, or residential facility is highly preferred.
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in any discipline; training in education, psychology, or social work is an advantage.
- Comfort with working in a residential school environment, with flexibility in working hours as needed.
