JOB DESCRIPTIONPosition: Horticulturist

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, execute, and supervise plantation and gardening activities at project sites.
- Handle landscape development, garden development, and green area maintenance.
- Manage plantation of trees, shrubs, flowering plants, lawns, and other ornamental plants.
- Read and interpret landscape drawings, plantation layouts, garden plans, and site drawings.
- Execute landscaping and plantation work as per approved drawings, layouts, BOQ, and specifications.
- Prepare site work planning, activity schedules, and manpower planning for horticulture and landscaping activities.
- Prepare and maintain site measurements, work quantities, BOQ, and site billing.
- Prepare RA Bills / Client Bills based on completed site work and approved measurements.
- Coordinate with the Project Manager, Site Engineer, and Accounts team for billing and payment documentation.
- Verify completed work, measurements, quantities, and supporting documents before billing.
- Ensure proper watering, pruning, trimming, fertilization, pest control, and plant care.
- Supervise and maintain landscaped areas, lawns, gardens, and plantation zones.
- Prepare and implement landscaping and horticulture development plans as per site requirements.
- Monitor plant health and take corrective measures for diseases, pests, and poor growth.
- Manage horticulture workers,



gardeners, and site manpower and allocate daily work.
- Ensure proper utilization and maintenance of gardening tools, machinery, equipment, and materials.
- Conduct regular site inspections and maintain records of plantation and maintenance activities.
- Coordinate with clients and consultants regarding site planning, execution, measurements, billing, and landscaping requirements.
- Ensure timely completion and quality of plantation, landscape development, and maintenance work.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Horticulture, Plantation, Gardening, Landscaping, and Landscape Development.
- Positive knowledge of plants, trees, shrubs, lawns, soil, fertilizers, and irrigation systems.
- Ability to read and understand landscape drawings, plantation layouts, site plans, and technical drawings.
- Knowledge of site planning, work scheduling, BOQ, measurements, and billing.
- Experience in preparing RA Bills / Client Bills and measurement sheets.
- Good knowledge of manpower planning and site coordination.
- Experience in supervising horticulture and landscaping teams.
- Good site management and manpower handling skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

Qualification B.Sc. / Diploma in Horticulture, Agriculture, Landscape, or related field preferred.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
