JOB TITLE: HMC Operator Cum Setter & Programmer

Location: Irugur, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu

Qualification: B.E. Mechanical / Diploma Mechanical / ITI – Machinist or Relevant Trade

Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹35,000 per month, Salary will be offered based on relevant experience and technical skills.

JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for an experienced HMC Operator Cum Setter & Programmer to handle Horizontal Machining Centre operations, machine setting, tool setting, CNC programming, and precision machining activities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Operate and set HMC machines for precision machining.
- Set up machines according to drawings and production requirements.
- Perform tool setting, workpiece setting, fixture setting, and offset adjustments.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and machining specifications.
- Develop, edit, and modify CNC programs as required.
- Work with CNC programming, including G & M codes.
- Monitor machining operations and make necessary corrections.




- Inspect machined components using precision measuring instruments.
- Identify and troubleshoot dimensional and machining issues.
- Maintain required quality and production standards.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain machine housekeeping.
- Coordinate with Production and Quality teams.

REQUIREMENTS:
- 3–10 years of relevant HMC experience.
- Hands-on experience in HMC operation and setting.
- Good knowledge of CNC machining processes and programming.
- Knowledge of G & M codes, tool offsets, tool setting, and fixture setting.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of machining parameters and cutting tools.
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments.
- Valuable understanding of dimensional accuracy and quality requirements.
- DMG MORI HMC experience is preferred.
