About the Role:

Zydus is looking for an experienced Historian Technical Architect to lead the design, implementation, and governance of enterprise-wide Process Historian solutions across pharmaceutical manufacturing plants. The role will be responsible for architecting scalable, compliant, and secure historian platforms while enabling advanced manufacturing analytics, digital transformation, and Pharma 4.0 initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Design enterprise-level Historian architecture including High Availability, Disaster Recovery, and multi-site deployments.
- Lead implementation and lifecycle management of AVEVA PI System (OSIsoft PI) and other Process Historian platforms.
- Integrate manufacturing systems including DCS, PLC, SCADA, MES, LIMS, SAP, QMS, and Analytics platforms.
- Develop asset hierarchies, AF models, event frames, and historian standards aligned with ISA-95 and ISA-88.
- Ensure compliance with 21 CFR Part 11, EU Annex 11, GAMP 5, CSV/CSA,



and ALCOA+ principles.
- Support manufacturing analytics use cases such as CPV, OEE, Batch Analytics, Energy Monitoring, and Digital Twin initiatives.
- Architect data integration with Azure, AWS, AVEVA CONNECT, Databricks, and Data Lakes.
- Collaborate with Automation, Manufacturing, Quality, IT/OT, and Cybersecurity teams.
- Guide system integrators, review technical designs, and mentor engineering teams.
