Job Responsibilities

- Set and operate Horizontal Machining Centre (HMC) machines as per production requirements.

- Perform machine setting, tool setting, work offset setting, and job loading/unloading.

- Read and understand engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and machining specifications.

- Set and adjust cutting tools, inserts, fixtures, and work-holding devices.

- Edit and modify CNC programs as required for production.

- Check and maintain tool offsets, wear offsets, and cutting parameters.

- Carry out first-piece inspection and ensure components meet drawing specifications.

- Use measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Bore Gauge, Height Gauge, and Dial Gauge.

- Monitor machining operations and identify dimensional or surface-finish issues.

- Make necessary offset corrections to maintain component quality.

- Follow production schedules, process sheets, and work instructions.

- Maintain machine cleanliness and follow basic preventive maintenance practices.





- Follow all safety, quality, and 5S procedures.

- Minimize rejection, rework, tool consumption, and machine downtime.

- Maintain production and inspection records.

Required Skills

- Hands-on experience in HMC machine setting and operation.

- Good knowledge of CNC machining processes.

- Knowledge of Fanuc / Siemens / Mitsubishi controls will be an advantage.

- Ability to read engineering drawings and understand tolerances.

- Knowledge of cutting tools, inserts, fixtures, and machining parameters.

- Basic knowledge of G-code and M-code.

- Good knowledge of precision measuring instruments.

- Ability to troubleshoot basic machining and dimensional issues.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
