The Role

We are looking for an experienced HMIS Implementation Engineer who can manage hospital software implementation from requirement understanding to configuration, training, go-live and post-implementation stabilization.

This is a hands-on, customer-facing role. You will work directly with hospital administrators, doctors, nurses, billing teams, pharmacy, laboratory, IT teams and other hospital departments to ensure successful implementation and adoption of PRESCO.

We are particularly interested in candidates who have already worked on HMIS, HIS, EMR, Hospital ERP or Healthcare Software implementation.

What You Will Do

- Visit hospitals for implementation, configuration, training and go-live activities.
- Understand existing hospital workflows and map them to PRESCO.
- Configure PRESCO based on hospital requirements.
- Set up hospital masters including departments, doctors, services, tariffs, packages, users, roles and permissions.
- Implement workflows across OPD, IPD, Billing, Pharmacy, Laboratory, Radiology, EMR, Nursing, Insurance/TPA and other hospital modules.
- Train doctors, nurses, reception teams, billing staff, pharmacy staff, laboratory users and hospital administrators.




- Conduct department-wise product training and workflow walkthroughs.
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing and ensure issues are resolved before go-live.
- Support hospitals during go-live and stabilization.
- Troubleshoot functional issues reported by hospital users.
- Coordinate with product and development teams for technical or workflow-related issues.
- Track implementation timelines, milestones and pending activities.
- Maintain implementation documentation, training records and customer sign-offs.
- Conduct refresher training where required.
- Support rollout of additional PRESCO modules after initial implementation.
- Build strong working relationships with hospital teams and ensure successful product adoption.

Who We Are Looking For
- 1–3 years of experience in HMIS / HIS / EMR / Hospital Software implementation.
- Prior experience with an HMIS, HIS, EMR, Hospital ERP or Healthcare IT company is strongly preferred.
- Good understanding of hospital workflows and operations.
- Working knowledge of modules such as OPD, IPD, Billing, Pharmacy, Laboratory and EMR.
- Experience configuring masters, users, tariffs, departments and workflows.
- Comfortable training different categories of hospital users.
- Strong communication and customer-handling skills.
- Ability to understand functional requirements and troubleshoot workflow issues.
- Good coordination and documentation skills.
- Ability to independently manage implementation activities at a hospital.
- Willingness to travel to customer hospitals as required.
