Leadership Chance | Retailer Engagement & Field Operations

We are looking for an experienced Sales & Field Operations Leader to drive retailer acquisition, engagement, field force productivity and city-level sales performance for a rapidly scaling eB2B platform transforming India's convenience retail ecosystem.

The Mandate

Own the retailer-side business end to end from field operations and retailer engagement to national go-to-market strategy, city expansion and building a scalable sales organisation. This role reports directly to the CEO/COO.

Key Responsibilities

Lead large, distributed field teams, beat planning, route economics and productivity.

Drive retailer acquisition, active outlets, ordering frequency, retention and share of wallet.

Scale app adoption, WhatsApp, tele-calling and AI-assisted demand channels.

Own city-level sales performance, fair pricing, governance and sales discipline.

Build SOPs, MIS, dashboards, leadership pipelines and new-city expansion playbooks.

Partner with senior leadership on national GTM strategy, organisation design and sales technology.

What We're Looking For

10–15 years of sales and field-operations leadership experience.

Strong FMCG general-trade expertise combined with eB2B / fintech-style merchant operations at scale.





Experience managing large field teams through managers and building scalable processes, incentive structures and MIS.

Data-driven, execution-focused and comfortable with regular market visits.

High integrity, commercial discipline and the ability to thrive in ambiguity.

Relevant Backgrounds: FMCG, general trade, eB2B and merchant-led platforms such as Paytm, PhonePe, Udaan or similar organisations.
