NRole Overview

nWe are looking for a Strategic Bookkeeper with strong knowledge of US GAAP and experience working with global clients. This role goes beyond traditional bookkeeping — you will act as a financial partner to our clients, ensuring accurate reporting, supporting financial strategy, and helping streamline processes.

NKey Responsibilities

nMaintain accurate financial records in compliance with US GAAP.

NPerform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations.

NManage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll entries.

NPrepare monthly management reports, including P&L;, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.

NSupport client CFOs with variance analysis and strategic insights.

NAssist in process improvements and implement best practices for efficiency.





NCollaborate with the Celeste team to deliver high-quality client experiences.

NRequirements

nProven bookkeeping/accounting experience under US GAAP.

NStrong knowledge of account reconciliations, accruals, and financial reporting.

NHands-on experience with one or more accounting platforms:

NQuickBooks Online (QBO)

NXero

nSage Intacct(or similar mid-market systems).

NStrong Excel/Google Sheets skills.

NDetail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently with global teams.

NExcellent communication skills in English.

NNice to Have

nPrior experience working with CFO advisory firms, SaaS, eCommerce, or service-based businesses.

NFamiliarity with workflowtools (Ramp, Dext, Gusto, Bill.Com, Hubdoc, etc.).
