Job DescriptionWe are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Semi-Qualified Accountant to join our team at Nariman Point, Mumbai. The role involves managing end-to-end accounting operations, statutory compliances, audit support, financial reporting, and client accounting assignments.

NThe ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Tally, GST, TDS, general accounting, reconciliations, and statutory compliances, preferably within a CA firm environment.

NKey Responsibilities

- Pass daily accounting entries in Tally ERP / Tally Prime
N
- Maintain books of accounts, ledgers, and supporting documents
N
- Handle purchase, sales,expense, and general accounting entries
N
- Prepare bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow
N
- Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP)
N
- Handle statutory compliances including GST, TDS, PF, PT, ESIC, and Income Tax
N
- Prepare GST and TDS workings and support timely return filing
N
- Assist in finalization of accounts and preparation of financial statements
N
- Provide support for internal, statutory, tax, and other audits
N
- Prepare MIS reports andsupport monthly and annual closing activities
N
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and tax laws
N
- Coordinate with internal teams and clients for accurate financial reporting
N
- Supervise and guide junior accounting staff
N




- Independently manage client accounting assignments
N
- Handle other accountingand finance-related responsibilities as required

nRequirements

- B.Com / M.Com;

CA Inter or CMA Inter preferred

N
- Minimum 8 years of relevant accounting experience
N
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and taxation
N
- Hands-on experience with Tally ERP / Tally Prime
N
- Strong experience in GST return filing, TDS compliance, and reconciliations
N
- Valuable knowledge of general ledger accounting and month-end closing
N
- Advanced MS Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and data analysis
N
- Experience in audit support and statutory compliances
N
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
N
- High attention to detail and accuracy

- Good communication and coordination skills

- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently
