Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) Analyst
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) Analyst to support our Financial Crime, AML, KYC, and Fraud Risk Management functions. The role involves monitoring transactions, investigating suspicious activities, conducting due diligence reviews, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate should have strong risk assessment capabilities and a solid understanding of financial crime prevention frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct investigations related to Financial Crime Compliance, Fraud Risk Management, AML, KYC, Sanctions Screening, and Regulatory Compliance.
- Review customer transactions, account activities, and system-generated alerts to identify potential money laundering, fraud, or other financial crime risks.
- Perform Customer Due Diligence (CDD), Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD), and risk assessments in line with internal policies and regulatory standards.
- Identify, analyze, document, and escalate suspicious activities for further investigation and regulatory reporting.
- Support fraud prevention and financial crime monitoring initiatives by identifying emerging threats, trends, and control gaps.
- Maintain accurate case records, investigation reports, and compliance documentation.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to strengthen compliance controls and risk mitigation measures.
- Stay updated on evolving regulatory requirements, financial crime typologies, and industry best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, Economics, Law, Risk Management, or a related discipline.
- Experience in Financial Crime Compliance (FCC),
Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Know Your Customer (KYC), Fraud Risk Management, Regulatory Compliance, or Financial Services Operations.
- Understanding of AML regulations, sanctions compliance, financial crime risks, and fraud detection methodologies.
- Experience in transaction monitoring, alert review, investigations, and risk assessment processes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a quick-paced environment while maintaining high attention to detail.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of AML/KYC regulations and global compliance standards.
- Exposure to sanctions screening and transaction monitoring tools.
- Familiarity with fraud detection techniques and financial crime typologies.
- Certifications such as CAMS, ICA, CFE, or equivalent will be an added advantage.
