Role Description The Health Safety Environment Officer role is a contract, on-site position based in Kasauli. The officer will oversee health, safety, and environmental compliance across industrial electrical projects, ensuring adherence to company policies, local regulations, and industry standards. Daily responsibilities include conducting site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits; identifying hazards and recommending corrective actions; and monitoring implementation of safety procedures and personal protective equipment usage.





The role involves delivering safety trainings and toolbox talks, maintaining HSE documentation and incident reports, supporting incident investigations, and contributing to continuous improvement of safety practices. The officer will collaborate closely with project managers, supervisors, and technicians to promote a safety-first culture and minimize occupational risks.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Health & Safety and Workplace Safety skills, with practical experience in industrial or construction environments.
- Candidates should possess Environment Health and Safety (EHS) knowledge, including understanding of environmental regulations and safe work practices.
- Candidates should possess Occupational Health expertise, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks related to worker health and wellbeing.
- Candidates should possess recognized safety certifications such as NEBOSH or equivalent credentials relevant to HSE management.
- Relevant technical qualification or diploma in engineering, safety management, or a related field is preferred.
- Solid communication, reporting, and training skills, with the ability to influence safe behaviors across diverse teams.
- Proven ability to perform risk assessments, incident investigations, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Familiarity with local safety regulations, standards, and best practices applicable to industrial electrical contracting.
