Core Purpose of the Role

Head – Strategic Alliances will be responsible for identifying, approaching, developing, and maintaining relationships with colleges and universities to establish recent academic collaborations for BIE’s Bachelor’s and MBA Entrepreneurship programs.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify potential colleges and universities suitable for BIE’s Bachelor’s and MBA programs.
- Build and maintain relationships with college management, trustees, principals, directors, deans, and senior academic/administrative decision-makers.
- Generate new institutional collaboration opportunities through direct outreach, networking, references, events, and industry connections.
- Conduct meetings and presentations with institutions to explain BIE’s programs, academic model, value proposition, and collaboration opportunities.
- Lead the end-to-end collaboration process, from prospect identification and initial discussion to negotiation and closure.
- Coordinate with internal BIE teams such as Academic, Admissions, Marketing,



and Management to ensure smooth onboarding of new partner institutions.
- Prepare proposals, presentations, commercial discussions, and collaboration documentation as required.
- Maintain a structured pipeline of prospective colleges, follow-ups, meetings, discussions, and closures.
- Explore opportunities across Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Thane, Pune, and other cities, depending on BIE's expansion plans.
- Develop long-term institutional relationships and identify opportunities to expand existing collaborations.
- Track partnership targets, conversion rates, and monthly/quarterly business development performance.
- Represent BIE at education conferences, networking events, institutional meetings, and other relevant forums.
