About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Head of Operations Order Execution to lead the complete post-order execution function for our Test & Measurement (T&M;) business. The role is responsible for translating sales forecasts into production plans, driving manufacturing and dispatch execution, managing commercial compliances, coordinating utility and export projects, and ensuring achievement of monthly and annual billing targets.

This is a strategic leadership position requiring strong expertise in production planning, government and utility order execution, SAP ERP, commercial documentation, and cross-functional team management.

Key Responsibilities

Production Planning & Revenue Achievement

- Convert sales forecasts into Master Production Schedules (MPS) and production releases.
- Own monthly and annual billing target achievement through effective production and execution planning.
- Optimize production capacity, material availability, and resource allocation to eliminate bottlenecks.

End-to-End Order Execution
- Manage the complete order lifecycle from PO review to dispatch and customer handover.
- Ensure compliance with purchase order terms including Bank Guarantees (BG), Letters of Credit (LC), and commercial documentation.
- Track material status, WIP, delivery schedules, billing, and recovery through SAP ERP.
- Coordinate outsourced vendors for timely execution of project orders.




- Plan and monitor FAT, TPI, and pre-dispatch inspections.

Utility, Customer & Export Operations
- Act as the operational interface for Central & State Utilities, EPCs, and industrial customers.
- Oversee export documentation, shipping logistics, customs compliance, RBI regulations, BG & LC processes.
- Coordinate documentation standards with other business verticals for export orders.
- Manage site commissioning engineers to ensure timely installation, commissioning, and customer acceptance.

Leadership & Commercial Coordination
- Lead and develop teams across production planning, dispatch, project coordination, commissioning, and commercial execution.
- Partner with Sales and Business Development for dispatch clearance and milestone payment recovery.
- Collaborate with Procurement, Manufacturing, and Finance to align customer commitments with operational capability.
- Participate in strategic business reviews, operational planning, and leadership discussions.

Candidate Profile

- 10/15+ years in Operations, Production Planning, Supply Chain, or Order Execution.
- Minimum 5 years of team leadership experience.
- Experience in Electrical Equipment, Test & Measurement, Power, EPC, or Industrial Manufacturing preferred.
- Solid exposure to government and utility purchase orders and commercial execution.
