Job Title: Head of Operations – Biogas Division (VP Level)

Organization: Point, Coimbatore - Part of Sharp Pumps Pvt. Ltd.

About Point:

Point manufactures critical equipment (including pumps and other machinery) for biogas, STP, and ETP plants, and integrates this with select third-party components to deliver complete, efficient, high-quality plants. We are now expanding from equipment manufacturing into full plant installation and are building out this vertical.

About the Role:

We're looking for a young, dynamic, and driven engineering-MBA professional to lead and scale our Biogas division as Head of Operations, at a VP level. This is a high-ownership role for someone who wants to build a business vertical from the ground up and grow rapidly alongside it.

Key Responsibilities:

- Own end-to-end operations for the biogas division — from manufacturing coordination and vendor/procurement management to project execution and site installation
- Build, lead, and mentor a growing team across engineering, procurement, and project execution
- Drive quality standards across in-house manufactured and third-party sourced components




- Develop and execute the growth strategy for the biogas vertical, in coordination with leadership
- Manage timelines, budgets, and client relationships for ongoing and upcoming projects
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and scale the business

Qualifications & Skills:

- Engineering degree (Mechanical/Chemical/Environmental or related); MBA preferred
- Strong track record in operations, project execution, or plant management (industrial, EPC, or renewables background a plus)
- High energy, ownership mindset, and comfort with a fast-growing, hands-on environment
- Robust leadership and team-building capability
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
