Role Description The Head of Finance is a full-time, on-site role based in Tiruppur, responsible for overseeing all financial operations of The Chennai Silks. This role includes leading the preparation and review of financial statements, managing budgeting and forecasting processes, and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. The Head of Finance will monitor cash flow, support cost control initiatives, and provide analytical insights to guide strategic and operational decisions.

Daily responsibilities also involve maintaining compliance with relevant regulations, supervising the finance team,



coordinating with auditors and banks, and partnering with senior leadership on growth and investment plans.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong expertise in Finance and Financial Reporting, with experience managing end-to-end finance functions.
- Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Financial Statements and Budgeting, including preparation, review, and variance analysis.
- Candidates should possess advanced Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, identify trends, and support decision-making.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with accounting and ERP systems, along with strong Excel and financial modeling skills.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, accounting, or commerce; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA, CPA)
- Demonstrated experience in a senior finance leadership role, preferably in retail, textiles, or a similar high-volume business setting.
- Ability to lead and develop finance teams, communicate clearly with stakeholders, and work effectively on-site in a fast-paced setting.
