Job Overview

Billimoria High School, a well-established co-educational residential CBSE institution under Aditi Education Society, is seeking a energetic and experienced Head of Boarding to lead and manage all aspects of student residential life.

The role is central to ensuring a safe, disciplined, nurturing, and enriching environment that supports students’ academic achievement, character development, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Management

- Provide strategic leadership and direction for the boarding program.
- Lead, supervise, and mentor Dorm parents and boarding team.
- Foster a structured, value-driven, and inclusive residential culture.
- Ensure strong coordination between academic and residential teams.

Student Welfare & Pastoral Care

- Safeguard the physical, emotional, and mental well-being of all boarders.
- Implement child protection and safeguarding policies effectively.
- Promote discipline with empathy and fairness.
- Ensure a balanced, respectful, and safe co-educational environment.

Boarding Operations

- Oversee daily hostel routines (wake-up, meals, prep, activities, lights-off).
- Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and maintenance of hostel facilities.
- Supervise dining services and student nutrition.
- Maintain high standards of student supervision at all times.

Academic Support

- Coordinate with academic team to monitor student academic progress.
- Ensure structured and productive study sessions.
- Support students requiring additional academic assistance.

Parent & Community Engagement

- Maintain transparent and regular communication with parents/office.




- Address concerns promptly and professionally.
- Represent the boarding program during admissions and school events.

Student Development & Activities

- Plan co-curricular, recreational, and life-skills programs.
- Organize weekend activities, outings, and cultural events.
- Encourage leadership, independence, and responsibility among students.

Compliance & Administration

- Ensure adherence to CBSE norms and residential school regulations.
- Maintain accurate records (attendance, health, discipline, incidents).
- Oversee boarding budgets, inventory, and procurement.
- Implement health, safety, and emergency procedures.

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred (Education, Psychology, or related field).
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a residential/boarding school.
- Familiarity with CBSE systems and Indian residential school culture.
