We are looking for an experienced Corporate Head Manufacturing Excellence to lead process optimization and new machining process development for precision auto and defence components. The ideal candidate brings deep hands-on expertise in precision machining, cutting tools and fixturing, and a proven track record in process and product development in a high-precision manufacturing environment.Roles & Responsibilities

- Lead manufacturing excellence initiatives across machining operations to improve cycle time, productivity, quality and cost.
- Design and develop new machining processes for new auto and defence components, from concept through to reliable production.
- Select, evaluate and optimize cutting tools, tool paths and machining parameters for better tool life and lower cost per component.
- Design and develop fixtures and work-holding solutions for accuracy, repeatability and quick changeover.
- Lead development activities for new parts, including process planning, trials, validation and handover to production.
- Ensure processes meet the strict quality and precision standards required for automotive and defence applications.
- Drive continuous improvement using Lean, Kaizen and structured problem-solving methods.




- Work closely with Production, Quality, Tool Room and Design teams to resolve technical issues and ensure process capability.
- Build, lead and mentor the manufacturing engineering team.

Desired Candidate Profile

- 15 25 years of experience in precision machining in a manufacturing environment.
- In-depth knowledge of precision machining processes (CNC turning, VMC/HMC, grinding, etc.).
- Strong expertise in cutting tools, tooling selection, and optimization.
- Detailed knowledge of fixture design and work-holding.
- Proven experience in new process and product development.
- Exposure to auto and/or defence component manufacturing is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and cross-functional coordination skills.
