An established SEBI-registered Category I merchant banker and capital markets firm is hiring a Head of Deal Origination to lead sourcing of high-value capital market and corporate finance transactions.

Key responsibilities:

- Source and originate current business across capital markets and corporate finance

- Build relationships with corporates, promoters, financial institutions, investors and intermediaries

- Drive origination across IPOs, private placements, debt transactions, M&A; and structured finance

- Lead client pitches, presentations and commercial discussions

- Work closely with execution teams to ensure seamless deal closure

- Identify market opportunities, contribute to business growth strategy and mentor junior team members

Relevant backgrounds: investment banking, M&A;, debt capital markets, syndication, IPO origination, banking or credit rating. A demonstrated record of originating and closing transactions is essential.
