Role Description The Hardware Developer – Vadodara role is a full-time, on-site position responsible for designing, developing, and testing hardware for home automation and IoT-based electrical products. Day-to-day tasks include creating and reviewing circuit designs, selecting components, prototyping and validating hardware, and collaborating with firmware and software teams to ensure seamless integration.

The role involves troubleshooting hardware issues, optimizing designs for performance, safety, and cost, and preparing technical documentation and schematics.

The Hardware

Developer will work closely with manufacturing and quality teams to support production,



resolve field issues, and contribute to continuous improvement of Smart Node’s product portfolio. This position is based in Vadodara and requires regular coordination with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust Hardware Development skills, including prototyping, testing, and validation of electronic products.
- Candidates should possess Circuit Design skills, including schematic creation, PCB design, and component selection.
- Candidates should possess foundational Electrical Engineering knowledge, with an understanding of safety standards and power systems.
- Candidates should possess Electronics skills, including analog and digital electronics and embedded hardware interfaces.
- Candidates should possess Power Electronics skills, including design and analysis of power supplies, converters, and protection circuits.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or related engineering field.
- Experience with EDA tools (e.g., Altium, KiCad, or similar) and familiarity with EMI/EMC and regulatory compliance is beneficial.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and capability to work collaboratively in an on-site engineering environment.
