What You’ll Do A Senior Analyst in the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) manages the operations of a GSOC shift team. The team supports multiple clients in diverse locations, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The Senior

Analyst's primary duty is management of the on-duty shift, including staffing, work assignments, performance, training, escalation decisions, and service quality.

The Senior Analyst serves as the primary escalation point for all Operators and Analyst and assumes full supervisory authority over the shift in the absence of the GSOC Supervisors.

The Senior

Analyst also performs and reviews high-level intelligence analysis and, exercising independent judgment, serves as the senior decision-maker for the shift. The team uses the HiveWatch GSOC Operating System and internal tooling, physical security technologies, OSINT intelligence and notification platforms, and analytic requests.

In emergencies, the HiveWatch GSOC directs and coordinates assistance for its clients.

The Senior

Analyst leads the shift’s response, including analysis, technical, and advisory support for essential operational services.

The Senior

Analyst exercises discretion and independent judgment in deciding on escalation of identified security events and on the shift’s actions to manage, control, and reduce immediate threats to health and safety.

Shift Management and Supervision

- Manage the on-duty GSOC shift, direct the work of its Operators and Analysts, and serve as the escalation point for operational and security decisions
- Assign and prioritize monitoring, intelligence, reporting, dispatch, and incident-response work across the shift
- Adjust staffing, break schedules, and work assignments based on client risk and operational demand
- Monitor team performance, attendance, response quality, and compliance with HiveWatch and client requirements
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide documented coaching, including coaching on written and verbal communications
- Issue first-level corrective action in coordination with the GSOC Supervisor and Human Resources
- Develop, lead, and conduct training for GSOC members
- Lead shift briefings, debriefings, and post-incident reviews




- Remain responsible for the shift’s performance while performing any hands-on work
- Make recommendations on hiring, promotion, compensation, discipline, and termination for team members
- Identify training needs and assess whether team members have met required competencies

Intelligence Review and Client Advisory

- Review and approve complex or high-impact intelligence assessments before release to clients
- Conduct organized triage analysis, prioritize, and make decisions under stress, and advise and direct GSOC Operators and Analysts on complex and urgent situations
- Work collaboratively with HiveWatch’s and clients’ leadership teams to prepare for, respond to, and recover from incidents and crisis events that may impact our clients, including their personnel, property, business operations, or brand
- Advise client security leadership during critical incidents

Program Improvement and Special Assignments

- Direct and oversee position-related projects to evaluate and improve GSOC operations, analytical methods, and systems
- Review and approve Analyst recommendations on recurring threats, operational weaknesses, and process gaps identified in incident and alert data
- Evaluate and approve proposed changes to escalation criteria, reporting formats, response protocols, and standard operating procedures
- Assess the effectiveness of GSOC training programs and direct updates to intelligence assessment and analytical writing curricula
- Review client guard staffing assessments prepared by Analysts and make final procurement and assignment recommendations to leadership

GSOC Operations Support

- Provide operational GSOC coverage which may may include monitoring access control alerts and video feeds, answering calls, dispatching or notifying security officers and maintenance, and liaising with emergency 911 centers
- Conduct organized triage analysis, prioritize, and make decisions under stress
- Maintain concise records of communications, events, and the basis for analytical conclusions

- Represent and display the HiveWatch core principles of customer service and professionalism
- Communicate and disseminate information to key partners through established communication vehicles and best practices
- Maintain composure during critical incidents and emergencies
- Comply with all HiveWatch rules and guidelines, including safety rules and guidelines, and maintain strict confidentiality

Qualifications

- Minimum 4+ years of experience in a security operations center, intelligence analysis, emergency management, or a related role




- At least 2 years of experience leading, supervising, or managing a shift or team preferred
- Demonstrated experience directing operational staff during critical incidents
- Sound judgment on staffing, personnel, client risk, and incident response
- Experience preparing and reviewing intelligence products for senior leaders
- Strong written and verbal communication skills across various platforms (email, Slack, phone, etc.)
- Ability to coach junior team members and produce concise reports from verbal or written sources
- Must be willing to learn unfamiliar technical systems
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, especially during times of crisis
- Must have a reliable means of communication (e.g., email, cell phone)
- Must have a reliable means of transportation (public or private)
- Must be willing to sign a confidentiality agreement and maintain confidentiality at all times
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen upon the extension of a conditional employment offer

Physical And Environmental Conditions

- The position requires sitting or standing in place for extended periods
- No personal belongings, including electronics, are allowed with the employee while on shift
- Secure storage will be provided onsite
- Significant computer and screen viewing will be required

Additional Info

- This is a salaried, exempt position
- Annual salary for this position: $76,000 to $85,000
- Eligible to participate in HiveWatch Equity Incentive Plan
- Final offer will be at the company’s sole discretion and determined by multiple factors, including years and depth of relevant experience and expertise, location, and other business considerations.
