AI/ML Engineer 1 - Graphics Software Validation

Role Overview :

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Software Engineer to join the Customer Quality Engineering (CQE) team within the User Experience Group (UXG).

The role focuses on validating graphics software features, reproducing and debugging customer-reported issues, and improving the quality of software releases. The candidate will work closely with development, product management, and cross-functional engineering teams to deliver high-quality software experiences.

Key Responsibilities :

- Execute functional, regression, and feature validation testing for graphics software and drivers.
- Reproduce, analyze, and report customer-reported issues.
- Create and maintain test cases, validation plans, and test reports.
- Collaborate with development teams to investigate, debug, and resolve software issues.
- Analyze logs, traces, and system data to support root-cause analysis.
- Contribute to test automation and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Use AI-assisted tools to improve validation efficiency and productivity.
- Support software quality activities across Windows-based graphics applications and systems.

Required Skills :

- Good understanding of software testing methodologies and QA processes.
- Experience or exposure to graphics, gaming,



or application validation on Windows platforms.
- Experience with Windows-based applications and system-level testing.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of Python scripting.
- Understanding of AI concepts, prompt engineering, and AI-assisted workflows.
- Familiarity with GitHub and source code management practices.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Top Mandatory Skills :

- Experience in graphics driver, gaming, or system software validation.
- Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools.
- Experience with AI-driven testing, automation, or productivity tools.

Nice-to-Have Skills :

- Exposure to AMD or NVIDIA graphics software ecosystems.
- Knowledge of automation frameworks.
- Scripting experience using Python, PowerShell, or similar technologies.
- Experience with graphics driver or system software validation.
- Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools.
- Exposure to AI-driven testing and automation tools.
