Role Overview

We are seeking a highly driven, execution-oriented General Manager / Executive Manager to serve as the primary integration and operational support for the Managing Director. This role is central to driving operational discipline, accountability, and execution speed across a multi-branch pharmacy network. The successful candidate will bridge the gap between strategic planning and daily operations, ensuring that management priorities are instantly converted into clear action points and rigorously tracked to closure without requiring continuous MD intervention.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Execution & Tracking

- Convert MD decisions, strategies, and priorities into structured, step-by-step action plans with clear owners and deadlines.
- Track critical tasks, departmental deadlines, and project closures systematically.
- Maintain a clear, continuously updated priority and action tracker for executive review.
- Operate with a solution-oriented mindset, proactively presenting viable solutions alongside any escalated problems.

Cross-Functional Leadership & Coordination

- Drive execution across multiple branches and core functional departments, including Operations, HR, Finance, Purchase, IT, and Distribution.
- Confidently follow up with senior department heads and branch managers to ensure strict accountability and timely delivery on commitments.
- Identify operational gaps, bottlenecks, and project delays early,



resolving them before they escalate into major issues.
- Separate routine operational matters from critical issues, ensuring daily follow-ups are closed at the appropriate management tier.
- Champion the continuous improvement of operational systems, reporting standards, and branch coordination across the entire pharmacy chain.

Executive Support & Management Reporting

- Manage high-level management meetings by preparing agendas, capturing precise Minutes of Meeting (MOM), and driving all post-meeting action items.
- Synthesize raw operational data into concise management updates, leveraging Excel, Google Sheets, and business dashboards.
- Act as an effective filter for the MD, escalating only major risks, severe delays, or critical exceptions requiring executive approval.
- Handle highly sensitive business, financial, and personnel information with absolute confidentiality and professionalism.

Qualifications & Ideal Profile Experience & Domain Expertise

- Tenure: 4* to 8 *years of relevant strategic or operational leadership experience.
- Industry Requirement: Mandatory background in the Healthcare or Pharmacy industry.
- Preferred Sectors: Exceptional preference given to candidates with direct experience in Chain Retail Pharmacy,



Multi-branch Pharmacy Operations, Pharmacy Distribution linked with Retail, or Healthcare Retail.
- (Note: Experience solely in unrelated industries will not be considered).

Core Competencies

- Deep practical understanding of pharmacy store operations, including purchasing, inventory management, stock movement, customer service, and regulatory compliance.
- Highly organized, disciplined, and relentless in follow-up.
- Strong bias for execution—capable of moving swiftly from planning and discussion to on-the-ground implementation.
- High ownership mindset with the ability to learn quickly and adapt to fast-changing business needs.
- Robust written and verbal communication skills tailored for executive-level interaction.

Core Success Measure The ultimate success in this role is defined by a tangible reduction in routine MD involvement, paired with a noticeable improvement in execution speed, branch coordination, organizational accountability, and operational discipline across the entire retail pharmacy chain. Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
