Role & responsibilities:

- Develop project plans, timelines, schedules, and resource allocation for construction and maintenance projects.

- Define project scope, milestones, and execution plans with leadership and designers.

- Select, negotiate, and manage contractors, architects, PMCs, and other vendors.

- Monitor vendor performance, coordination, and compliance throughout the project.

- Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cash flow.

- Control project costs while maintaining quality and safety standards.

- Oversee on-site construction and maintenance activities as per approved drawings and specifications.

- Ensure compliance with HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) standards and site safety norms.

- Plan and supervise maintenance, repairs, and upgrades of completed facilities.

- Ensure proper project handover with complete documentation, warranties, and AMCs.

- Maintain compliance with building codes, statutory regulations, and internal policies.

- Keep audit-ready records of contracts, bills, measurements, approvals, and project documents.

- Submit regular progress, risk, and financial reports to the Executive Team.

- Coordinate with HR, Admin, Finance, Facility Management, and PR/Fundraising teams for smooth project execution.





Preferred candidate profile:

- • B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (mandatory); Masters in Construction Management / Project Management is a plus.

- • 12-18+ years in construction project management, with at least 5-7 years in a senior role (GM / DGM / Head of Projects).

- • Experience managing multiple simultaneous projects (temple/spiritual complexes, hospitality, residential, or large institutional buildings) preferred.

- • Proven track record in: o End-to-end project delivery (planning to handover).

- Vendor/contractor management and negotiation.

- Budgeting, cost control, and value engineering

- Strong knowledge of construction methods, contracts, BOQ, and cost estimation.

- Proficiency in MS Project / Primavera and AutoCAD/reading drawings.
- Excellent coordination, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

- High safety and quality orientation; decisive in problem-solving.

- Integrity and transparency in vendor and financial dealings.

- Proficiency in Hindi and English; local language knowledge is a plus.

- Comfortable working on-site in a semi-urban, pilgrimage workplace (Madhuban/Shikharji).
