Role objective HEAVY ENGINEERING | BADLAPUR-

Take complete ownership of the Badlapur manufacturing facility and ensure projects are executed safely, profitably, to specification and on schedule.- Coordinate Production, Projects, Planning, Purchase, Stores, QA/QC, Maintenance, Dispatch and Site Execution as one accountable operating system.- Create clear ownership, deadlines, escalation routes and recovery plans so that management is not required to repeatedly chase routine actions

Core responsibilities - operations and delivery-

Lead daily and weekly project reviews covering drawings, BOMs, material availability, fabrication, inspections, documentation, dispatch and site requirements.

- Convert contractual milestones into executable production, procurement and inspection plans for every active project.
- Monitor pressure vessels, heat exchangers, reactors, columns, tanks, skids, structural equipment and defence systems from order release through dispatch.
- Identify schedule slippages and constraints early; assign owners and dates, escalate critical dependencies and verify closure.
- Balance priorities across multiple projects competing for manpower, bays, cranes, machines, inspection slots and subcontracting capacity.
- Ensure timely customer communication, inspection readiness, dispatch documentation, billing milestones and project handover.





Cross-functional leadership- Ensure Engineering releases approved drawings, BOMs and technical clarifications before production commitments are made.

- Drive Purchase and Stores follow-up for plates, pipes, forgings, bought-outs, welding consumables and project-specific items.
- Review production loading, manpower deployment, machine utilisation, overtime and subcontracting requirements.
- Coordinate customer, consultant, TPI, DGAQA and statutory inspections, including timely closure of observations and NCRs.
- Build robust supervisors and functional leaders; establish measurable daily and weekly accountability

Quality, safety and commercial control HEAVY ENGINEERING | BADLAPUR-

Ensure compliance with ASME Section VIII, ASME Section IX, IBR, PESO, ISO systems, approved QAPs and customer requirements.

- Protect material identification and traceability through receipt, cutting, fabrication, testing and dispatch.
- Control project cost, material consumption, scrap, rework, repairs, overtime and external job-work expenses.
- Maintain safe working practices, statutory compliance, preventive maintenance, housekeeping and workforce discipline.
- Submit concise MIS covering output, milestone status, shortages, inspections, bottlenecks, cost risks and recovery actions.

Required experience and technical exposure- Strong experience in heavy fabrication, preferably with an ASME U-stamp manufacturer of pressure vessels, heat exchangers, reactors, columns, storage tanks or process skids.

- Working knowledge of fabrication drawings, BOMs, plate development, fit-up, welding processes, WPS/PQR, NDT, PWHT, hydrotesting, blasting and painting.
- Proven ability to manage several project-based jobs simultaneously while controlling cost and delivery.
- Commercial understanding of project costing, material control, subcontracting, billing milestones and customer priorities.
- Candidates from pure maintenance, automotive mass production, trading or non-fabrication backgrounds are unlikely to fit this position.

Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
