UI / UX designer — Join Code_V

Code_V is looking for a Game UI / UX Designer to join our game development team!

We’re currently working on Gaia Genesis, a multiplayer hero-shooter featuring unique otherworldly animals, each with their own abilities, personalities, and visual identity.

Code_V is looking for a passionate UI / UX Designer to join our team and help us build exciting multiplayer gaming experiences.

NOTE : THIS IS GOING TO BE A PROFIT SHARING ROLE. I.E. THE VOLUNTEER WILL BE GETTING THE COMPENSATION AFTER THE RELEASE OF THE GAME FOR UPTO 8 YEARS

What You'll Do

- Design UI/UX for mobile and PC games.
- Create game menus, HUDs, buttons, icons, pop-ups, inventory screens, settings, maps, and other interface elements.
- Develop UI concepts and visual styles that match the game's art direction.
- Create wireframes and UI layouts before moving into final designs.
- Ensure interfaces are intuitive, readable, and easy for players to navigate.
- Work closely with game designers, artists, and developers to implement UI designs in-game.
- Create UI assets and provide design specifications for implementation.
- Iterate on designs based on team feedback and playtesting.




- Maintain consistency across all UI elements and screens.

Requirements
- Experience designing UI/UX for games.
- Strong understanding of layout, typography, color, spacing, hierarchy, and visual design.
- Good understanding of player psychology and game UX.
- Proficiency in tools such as Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar software.
- Ability to create polished game UI assets and icons.
- Understanding of responsive UI and different screen resolutions.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- A portfolio showcasing game UI/UX work is required.
