About The Role

ANSR is hiring for a Software Engineer to join our energetic team supporting one of our esteemed clients, American Airlines. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining innovative software solutions that enhance the airline's digital infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality applications, improve system performance, and ensure security and compliance standards are met.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, with a minimum of four years of experience in software development and system implementation.



Preference will be given to candidates holding a Master’s degree and those with prior experience in the airline industry. Candidates should have a strong foundation in object-oriented programming, application lifecycle management, and agile methodologies.

Proficiency in programming languages such as Java or C#, front-end technologies like JavaScript, Angular, or React, and database management systems including PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or MySQL is essential. Excellent communication skills, problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to work effectively in a rapid-paced environment are also required.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and implement scalable software solutions aligned with business needs and technical standards.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, adhering to organizational standards and best practices.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security.
- Participate in requirement analysis, system design, and architecture discussions to deliver innovative solutions.
- Lead root cause analysis efforts to identify and resolve complex technical issues, minimizing system downtime.
- Mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new features and optimize existing systems for performance and resilience.
- Ensure systems are compliant with security standards, conducting vulnerability assessments and guiding mitigation strategies.




- Develop and maintain documentation for all technical work products, including code, processes, and system configurations.
- Lead efforts to improve system observability, instrumentation, and monitoring to support proactive issue resolution.
- Identify opportunities for reusability and efficiency, promoting best practices across projects.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives, to ensure timely delivery of features.
