About This Role Senior Full Stack Engineer – Python / React / AWS

Location: India (Hybrid – Bangalore/Chennai preferred)

The Role in Brief

We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer with strong hands-on experience across Python backend development, ReactJS frontend development, and AWS cloud engineering to join a product engineering team building and scaling modern, cloud-based web applications.

The ideal candidate should have solid Backend Engineering (BED) and Frontend Engineering (FED) experience, along with practical exposure to designing, deploying, and supporting applications on AWS. You will contribute across the full product lifecycle—from technical design and development through testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and production support.

Key Responsibilities

Backend Engineering (BED)

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and REST APIs using Python.
- Work with frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
- Design and implement data models, business logic, integrations, and APIs.
- Work with PostgreSQL/MySQL and optimize database queries and application performance.
- Write clean, maintainable, testable code with appropriate unit and integration testing.
- Troubleshoot production issues and contribute to performance, reliability, and scalability improvements.

Frontend Engineering (FED)

- Build responsive and scalable web applications using ReactJS and TypeScript/JavaScript.
- Develop reusable components and maintain frontend architecture and coding standards.
- Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs and backend services.
- Implement state management, form handling, validation, and error handling.
- Collaborate with UX/design teams to translate requirements into high-quality user experiences.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility, performance, accessibility,



and responsive design.

AWS / Cloud Engineering

- Design, deploy, and support applications and services on AWS.
- Work with AWS services such as EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, IAM, VPC, and API Gateway.
- Support containerized application deployments using Docker and Kubernetes/ECS where applicable.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS-native services.
- Implement cloud security, monitoring, logging, scalability, and reliability best practices.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues across development, staging, and production environments.

Technical Ownership

- Translate product requirements into technical designs, tasks, and implementation plans.
- Participate in architecture and design discussions across backend, frontend, and cloud components.
- Identify technical risks, dependencies, and opportunities for performance and scalability improvements.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain engineering standards.
- Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing.

Agile Collaboration

- Work closely with technical leads, architects, product managers, QA, DevOps, and other engineering teams.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, demos, retrospectives, and technical discussions.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-shore and distributed engineering teams.
- Communicate technical decisions, progress, risks,



and dependencies clearly.

Basic Qualifications

- 4–7 years of professional software development experience with strong full-stack engineering exposure.
- Strong hands-on experience with Python backend development using Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
- Strong hands-on experience with ReactJS and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Practical experience building and integrating REST APIs.
- Robust experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar relational databases.
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and deploying/supporting applications in AWS.
- Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of Git, branching strategies, code reviews, and software development practices.
- Experience with unit, integration, and API testing.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience building production-grade Python + React applications end-to-end.
- Experience with Django REST Framework, FastAPI, or similar API frameworks.
- Experience with TypeScript, modern React patterns, and frontend state management.
- Experience with AWS ECS/EKS, Lambda, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, IAM, VPC, and API Gateway.
- Experience with Docker/Kubernetes and infrastructure automation.
- Exposure to Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Experience designing scalable, secure, and highly available cloud architectures.
- Experience working with distributed/global engineering teams.
- Strong understanding of application security, observability, performance optimization, and production support.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum product development environments.
- Ability to take ownership of features across BED, FED, and AWS/cloud components.
