Role Description The Product Designer will work on-site full time in West Bengal, India, collaborating closely with product, engineering, data, and business teams to design user-centered solutions for Agronavis AI’s platform and tools. Day-to-day responsibilities include translating complex geospatial and agricultural data into intuitive interfaces, creating wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity designs, and maintaining consistency across visual and interaction patterns.

The role involves conducting user research and usability testing with farmers, landowners, and institutional partners, synthesizing insights, and iterating on designs based on feedback and product metrics.

The Product





Designer will contribute to product strategy by framing user problems, exploring design concepts, and documenting design decisions, while supporting the evolution of a coherent design system for Agronavis AI’s products.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid Product Design skills, with experience taking concepts from discovery through prototyping to implementation in digital products.
- Candidates should possess Design Thinking capabilities, including problem framing, ideation, rapid prototyping, and iterative, user-centered decision-making.
- Candidates should possess User Research and UX Research skills, such as planning studies, conducting interviews or field visits, and synthesizing insights into actionable design recommendations.
- Candidates should possess Visual Design skills, including layout, typography, color, and interaction design, and be comfortable working within or shaping a design system.
- Relevant experience in designing data-rich interfaces or B2B/SaaS platforms, ideally in agriculture, geospatial, climate, or related domains, is beneficial.
- Proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD) and ability to collaborate effectively with engineers and product managers is expected.
- A portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design work, and a degree or equivalent experience in Design, HCI, Interaction Design, or a related field, is preferred.
