Role & responsibilities

- Create and/or review high-quality, non-plagiarised technical assessment questions across the assigned skill area(s) Data Science, DevOps, Backend, Automation Testing, Frontend, or Full Stack at Easy, Medium, or Hard difficulty levels.
- Develop complete question components as applicable: problem statement, detailed technical description, starter/stub code, test cases, and reference solution.
- Use AI tools only as an assistive aid during initial drafting; independently validate, debug, and enhance all content to ensure technical accuracy, real-world relevance, and originality.
- Handle edge cases and deeper technical scenarios that reflect genuine on-the-job complexity, not just textbook problems.
- Incorporate reviewer feedback and revise content until it meets DoSelect's quality bar for final approval.
- Follow the Content Creation Guidelines and Feature Support Matrix for your assigned problem type.
- Sign and comply with the freelance engagement agreement (standard 1-year term).

Preferred candidate profile Skilled in any one (or more) of the following areas:

- Data Science Python (incl. Jupyter Notebookbased workflows)
- DevOps Linux, Git
- Automation Testing Python (Selenium), Java (Selenium)
- Frontend React, Angular 17, React Redux




- Backend Spring Boot, Node.js
- Full Stack — React + Spring + MySQL, .NET + Angular, .NET + React, MERN, MEAN
- 2+ years of hands-on, qualified (not purely academic) experience in one or more of the listed skills: Python/Data Science, Linux, Git, Spring Boot, Node.js, Java/Python Selenium, React, Angular, Redux, or full-stack combinations (MERN, MEAN, .NET).
- Practical, project-based depth — comfortable designing realistic problems, not just recalling syntax or definitions.
- Prior experience writing technical content, interview/assessment questions, documentation, or mentoring/training juniors is a strong plus.
- Strong written communication skills — able to write clear, unambiguous problem statements and technical descriptions.
- Self-driven and comfortable working independently in a flexible, freelance, project-based setup with periodic Work Orders.
- Reviews AI-assisted content critically rather than accepting it at face value — attention to detail and a bias toward technical correctness.
