About the Role

Godwin Digital Solutions is looking for a skilled and dependable Freelance WordPress Website Developer to work with us on website development, redesign, maintenance, and ongoing client projects.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with WordPress, Elementor, PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, responsive website development, and website troubleshooting. Experience working with digital marketing agencies and handling multiple client websites will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

- Developing professional, responsive, and SEO-friendly WordPress websites.
- Designing and developing websites using WordPress and Elementor.
- Converting approved website designs/layouts into functional WordPress websites.
- Customizing WordPress themes, plugins, templates, and website functionalities.
- Making website modifications, updates, redesigns, and landing pages as required.
- Ensuring websites are fully responsive across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
- Troubleshooting and resolving WordPress, plugin, theme, CSS, and JavaScript-related issues.
- Performing website speed and performance optimization.
- Implementing basic technical SEO requirements such as proper heading structure, URL structure, image optimization, schema implementation, and other on-page technical elements.
- Integrating contact forms, WhatsApp buttons,



Google Maps, social media, analytics, payment gateways, and other third-party tools where required.
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining WordPress plugins.
- Ensuring website security, backups, updates, and general maintenance.
- Coordinating with the SEO, content, graphic design, and social media teams to implement website requirements.
- Working on multiple client websites simultaneously while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
- Providing technical support and making changes based on client requirements.

Compensation

Freelance / Project-Based remuneration will be decided based on the scope and complexity of each project and the candidate's experience.

For suitable candidates, we may also consider a monthly retainer arrangement for ongoing website maintenance work.
