About the Role

We are seeking an experienced FP&A; / Financial Planning Functional Consultant with strong SAP Finance knowledge. In this role, you will analyze complex Excel-based financial models and translate them into structured, scalable, system-driven planning requirements for modern enterprise FP&A; solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze existing budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes (P&L;, Revenue, COGS, Opex, CapEx, and Workforce/Payroll costs).
- Deconstruct multi-layered, driver-based Excel planning models into structured calculations and functional requirements.
- Align financial planning models with SAP Finance hierarchies and data structures (General Ledger, Cost Centers, Profit Centers, Entities, and Fixed Assets).
- Lead discovery workshops with Finance and Accounting stakeholders; author clear functional specifications and business rules.
- Support Proof of Concept (POC) activities, scenario modeling, UAT execution, and business sign-off.

Requirements

- 5–10 years of hands-on experience in FP&A;, Financial Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting, or Finance Transformation.
- Strong functional knowledge of SAP Finance data structures (GL, Cost Center, Profit Center, Fixed Assets).




- Proven expertise in translating complex Excel-based financial logic into automated, rule-based system workflows.
- Robust stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.

Nice-to-Have

- Experience with enterprise planning platforms (SAP Analytics Cloud / SAC Planning, SAP BPC, Anaplan, OneStream, or Oracle EPM).
