About Us

KnitPro International is a leading manufacturer of knitting needles and accessories, with our plant based in Jaipur. We're looking for a skilled and dependable Fitter to join our Maintenance team.

Role Overview

We are hiring a Fitter to maintain, repair, and service production machinery, ensuring smooth and uninterrupted plant operations. The ideal candidate has hands-on mechanical experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setup.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform routine preventive maintenance on production machines and equipment
- Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out timely repairs to minimize downtime
- Install, align, and calibrate machine parts and components
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and manuals
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and report recurring issues




- Ensure all safety protocols and standards are followed during repair work
- Coordinate with the production team to schedule maintenance without disrupting operations
- Assist in installation of new machinery/equipment as required

Requirements

- ITI certification in Fitter trade (mandatory)
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment (freshers with strong ITI training may also be considered)
- Working knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments
- Basic understanding of mechanical drawings
- Physically fit and willing to work in shifts if required
- Positive problem-solving skills and attention to detail
