- Experience: 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in a heavy engineering or hot forging plant

Key Responsibilities

- Machinery Maintenance: Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance on heavy forging machinery like hydraulic/mechanical presses, hammers, trimming presses, and induction/gas-fired furnaces. [1]

- Hydraulic & Pneumatic Systems:



Inspect and repair high-pressure hydraulic lines, valves, cylinders, and pneumatic circuits common in forging presses. [1]

- Alignment and Assembly: Align heavy rotating equipment, shafts, gears, bearings, and flywheels using precision measuring instruments (vernier calipers, micrometers, dial gauges).

- Fabrication & Repair: Cut, grind, shape, and fit metal parts using welding (Arc/Gas), gas cutting, and standard fitting tools. [1]

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of engineering drawings, hydraulic schematics, and mechanical assemblies.

- Tool Proficiency: Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, grinders, and workshop machinery (lathe, drill press).

- Physical Fitness: Ability to work in high-temperature, noisy industrial environments and lift heavy components. [1, 2, 3, 4]
