Role & responsibilities

We are looking for a smart, analytical, and hands-on Finance Analyst with 34 years of experience to join our Finance/BI team. The role will work closely with Business Heads and key internal stakeholders to provide financial insights, analyse business performance, and support data-driven decision-making.

The ideal candidate should have strong financial analysis skills, excellent command of MS Excel, and a good understanding of business finances, profitability, revenue, costs, and key financial drivers.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyse business and financial performance across different business areas.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, MIS, dashboards, and performance trackers.
- Analyse revenue, costs, profitability, margins, and business trends to identify key drivers and areas of improvement.
- Work closely with Business Heads and internal stakeholders to understand business performance and provide actionable financial insights.
- Conduct variance analysis between actuals, budgets, forecasts, and business plans.
- Develop financial models and analysis using advanced Excel.
- Track key financial and business KPIs and highlight trends, gaps, and risks.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Deep dive into financial data to understand the inflows, outflows, cost structures, and profitability of the business.
- Translate complex financial data into clear and meaningful insights for business stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimisation and improved profitability.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data and reports.
- Work with the BI team to improve reporting, dashboards,



and data-driven financial analysis.
- Handle ad-hoc financial analysis and business requests from senior stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience
- 3–4 years of hands-on experience in Financial Analysis, FP&A;, Business Finance, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of P&L;, revenue, costs, margins, profitability, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel – Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, INDEX-MATCH, dashboards, financial models, etc.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with large datasets.
- Ability to independently analyse numbers and understand the complete financial picture of a business.
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Good communication skills with the ability to explain financial insights clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
- Comfortable working directly with Business Heads and senior internal stakeholders.
- Strong ownership and ability to work independently.

Good to Have
- Experience working with BI/Business Intelligence teams.
- Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or other data/analytics tools.
- Strong interest in technology and ability to quickly learn new tools and systems.
- Experience in a technology, SaaS, services, or digital business setting.
