Role Description The Finance Head will oversee all financial operations for The Chennai Silks’ Tiruppur location, ensuring accurate financial management and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. This full-time, in office role involves leading the finance team, preparing and reviewing financial statements, monitoring cash flow, managing budgeting and forecasting processes, and overseeing financial reporting to senior leadership. The role includes analyzing financial performance, identifying cost-saving opportunities, supporting strategic decisions with data-driven insights, and coordinating with auditors and banks as needed.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Finance, with the ability to oversee end-to-end financial operations and policy compliance.
- Proficiency in Financial Statements and Financial Reporting, including preparation, review, and analysis.
- Experience in Budgeting and forecasting, with the capability to manage budgets and monitor variances.
- Advanced Analytical Skills for interpreting financial data, evaluating performance, and supporting strategic decisions.
- Relevant academic background such as a degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA, CPA) preferred
- Experience in retail or manufacturing sectors, preferably in textiles, with exposure to multi-location operations.
- Strong leadership, team management, and stakeholder communication skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems, along with advanced spreadsheet skills.
