Financial Planning & Strategy

- Build annual budgets and rolling forecasts across all outlets

- Develop pricing, cost, and profitability models per outlet and menu category

- Advise leadership on expansion feasibility (new outlet P&L; modeling, break-even analysis)

Cost & Margin Control

- Monitor food cost %, beverage cost %, and labor cost % against targets

- Set up controls to flag wastage, pilferage, and portion inconsistencies

- Work with procurement to negotiate vendor terms and track price variance

Accounting & Reporting

- Oversee day-to-day accounting, P&L;, balance sheet, and cash flow statements

- Deliver monthly MIS reports with outlet-wise performance dashboards

- Manage audits (statutory, internal, tax) and ensure timely closures

Compliance & Taxation

- Ensure GST, TDS, PF/ESI, FSSAI-linked financial compliance, and other statutory filings

- Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies

- Manage licensing costs and renewals with financial implications

Cash Flow & Treasury

- Manage working capital,



payables/receivables, and daily cash reconciliation across outlets

- Oversee POS-to-accounting reconciliation and handle cash-heavy retail F&B; risks

- Manage banking relationships and any outlet financing/loans

Team & Systems

- Lead the accounts/finance team, including outlet-level cashiers/accountants

- Implement or upgrade accounting/POS integration systems

- Set SOPs for petty cash, vendor payments, and outlet-level financial discipline

Requirements

- CA / MBA (Finance) / CMA, with 510+ years experience, ideally in F&B;, retail, or hospitality

- Robust grip on unit economics of restaurants (food cost, labor cost, rent-to-revenue ratio)

- Hands-on with accounting software (Tally/Zoho/SAP) and POS reconciliation

- Experience managing multi-location P&Ls;

- Strong stakeholder management — this role sits between kitchen/ops teams and leadership
