Key responsibilities

Are you interested in understanding how market activity impacts the financial performance of a global trading business? Are you motivated by solving problems and delivering accurate financial information that supports business decision-making? We are looking for a Financial Controller to:

- review and produce daily and monthly P&L; and balance sheet reporting
- validate T0 versus T1 results and provide commentary on key P&L; drivers and variances
- perform P&L; and balance sheet controls to ensure accurate reporting at daily and month-end close
- reconcile data and investigate, resolve, or escalate breaks and reporting issues as required
- maintain a strong control environment by ensuring all controls are executed and documented in line with established procedures
- collaborate with stakeholders to support process improvements and deliver high-quality financial reporting

The team

You'll be working in the Product Control team within Group Finance. The team is responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial reporting, maintaining a robust control framework, and providing insightful analysis of business performance. You'll work closely with a range of stakeholders while helping ensure the integrity of P&L; and balance sheet reporting across the business.

Your skills and experience

• university degree or equivalent qualification, preferably CA, MBA, or a related discipline
- at least 5 years of experience in Product Control or a similar finance and control role
- strong understanding of double-entry accounting and its application to financial products
- working knowledge of the accounting impact of transactions on P&L; and balance sheet reporting
- proactive, solution-oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- strong attention to detail, accountability, and the ability to take initiative




- good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders across different levels of the organization
