Field Service Engineer

Role Overview looking for a hands-on Field Service Engineer / Technician for installation, commissioning, servicing and troubleshooting of waste-management and industrial machinery.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, commission, service and troubleshoot machinery at customer sites.
- Diagnose electrical, mechanical and electromechanical issues.
- Troubleshoot motors, gearboxes, bearings, shafts, couplings, conveyors, pumps, valves and seals.
- Troubleshoot control panels, motors, VFDs, sensors, relays, contactors and basic PLC/HMI systems.
- Read and understand electrical and mechanical drawings.
- Carry out preventive maintenance, alignment, repairs and component replacement.
- Attend breakdowns and provide timely solutions to minimise downtime.
- Train customer operators on machine operation, safety and basic maintenance.
- Prepare service, commissioning and breakdown reports.
- Coordinate with Engineering,



Production and Purchase teams for technical issues and spares.
- Provide feedback for machine/design improvements.
- Travel extensively across India and overseas as required.

Required Skills

- Diploma / ITI / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or related field.
- 2–6 years of experience in industrial machinery, equipment servicing or field service.
- Robust hands-on knowledge of electrical & mechanical systems.
- Practical knowledge of motors, gearboxes, VFDs, sensors, control panels, bearings, shafts and mechanical assemblies.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good customer-handling and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively.

Candidates with hands-on experience in industrial machinery, automation, conveyors, pumps, waste-management or process equipment will be preferred.

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹420,000.00 per year
